  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (add more if you love it cheesy!)

  • Hot Dogs: For the healthiest option, try to choose uncured, grass-fed beef hot dogs with minimal ingredients. We like the Marketside brand from Walmart, but any clean-label brand that’s free from nitrates, nitrites, fillers, and added sugars is a great choice. That said — real life happens! You’ll notice in the main photo I used Oscar Mayer hot dogs this time. They may not be the cleanest choice, but they were on sale and in my fridge, and sometimes you just go with what you’ve got. No guilt here, mama — use what works for you and your budget!

     

  • Cheese: Freshly shredded cheddar is always best! Pre-shredded cheese contains anti-caking agents like cellulose, which aren’t ideal on keto. If you have the time, shred your own cheddar using a hand grater, food processor, or electric shredder. (But if you’re a busy mama and need to grab the pre-shredded bag sometimes — zero judgment here!)

How to Assemble Your Keto Chili Cheese Dog Casserole

This casserole comes together in just a few easy steps:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.

  2. Spread half of the chili in the bottom of your 9×13-inch baking dish. Smooth it out into an even layer.

  3. Wrap your hot dogs:

    • (Optional, but recommended for softer wraps!) Pour the remaining chili into a large bowl. Dip each Egglife wrap into the chili to coat it lightly before wrapping it around a hot dog.

    • Whether you dip or not, wrap each hot dog snugly in an Egglife wrap and place it seam-side down on top of the chili layer in the baking dish.

  4. Repeat until all 10 hot dogs are wrapped and arranged in the dish. Try to keep them in a single layer without overlapping.

  5. Top with the rest of the chili, spreading it evenly over the wrapped hot dogs.

  6. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar all over the top. Feel free to be as generous as your heart desires!

  7. Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and starting to brown slightly around the edges.
