Cheesy Kielbasa & Cabbage Skillet

Ingredients
  

  • 4 tbsp butter or 2 tbsp oil of choice
  • 13 oz Polska Kielbasa sausage sliced
  • 1 cup onion diced
  • 1/2 head of cabbage chopped
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp ground mustard
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper optional
  • 2 Roma tomatoes diced
  • 2 cups mozzarella shredded

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400° F.
  • In a large cast iron or oven-safe skillet, heat butter over medium heat.
  • Add the sliced sausage and cook until browned.
  • Mix in the diced onion, chopped cabbage, garlic powder, ground mustard, salt, pepper, and crushed red pepper.
  • Cook until cabbage softens and the onions become translucent.
  • Stir in the diced tomatoes and cook for 1-2 minutes.
  • Top with shredded mozzarella.
  • Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 10 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Serve and enjoy!
