Ingredients

  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 16 oz salsa verde (mild or spicy)
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  • In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium-high heat until fully cooked.
  • Drain any excess grease and reduce the heat to low.
  • Add the salsa verde and cream cheese to the skillet.
  • Stir until the cream cheese melts completely and the sauce becomes smooth and creamy.
  • Season with salt to taste.
  • Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

  • For a milder flavor, use mild salsa verde; for extra heat, add diced jalapeños or hot sauce.
  • Serving ideas: as a taco or burrito filling, over rice, or as a dip with pork rinds.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days. Reheat gently on the stove or in the microwave.
  • Substitute ground turkey or chicken for a lighter variation.
